CSZ: Entrepreneurial Development Using ICT

We received the notification of this month’s Computer Society function and we thought we would share it with you. First because the speaker at the function, Mr. Cosmas Rashama, is one of Zimbabwe’s most known Cisco instructors, and second because he’s speaking on a topic most of you would love to discuss, Entrepreneurial Development Using ICT.

The function will be held on 20 September 2011 (that’s tomorrow) at the Jameson Hotel in the Sabi-Limpopo room. Starting time is 1730hrs.

Mr Cosmas Rashama has over 20 years experience in ICT of which 10 were spent in broadcasting as head of transmitters at ZBC, 5 at TIPS (Technology Information Promotion System) and the remainder at the University of Zimbabwe as a lecturer in the Electrical Engineering Department teaching Telecommunications and Digital Signal Processing.

Mr Rashama is the Cisco Entrepreneurial Institute Program Manager as well as an Instructor for the Cisco Network Academy Program.

He has a Masters’ Degree in Telecommunications Engineering and is a Cisco Certified Academy Instructor. Mr. Rashama holds several business qualifications including an MBA.
