ePayments Forum Panellists

ePayments Forum PanellistsYesterday, we held the ePayments Forum in Harare yesterday where we had representatives from Visa, Econet Wireless Zimbabwe, Zimswitch, Touch Retail and Zimbabwe Revenue Authority presenting on some keys issues in the ePayments space in Zimbabwe.

The event was attended to capacity by about 100 executives from financial institutions, web and mobile entrepreneurs, internet providers, mobile operators, leading media houses and general ICT companies. Unlike other events Techzim has held in the past year, this one was live tweeted so we had people following the event, contributing their views and asking questions via Twitter.

We will be posting the presentations  on the ePayments sub site later today, so please do check it to see what was presented and discussed at the event during the panel session. We will also be preparing a report to be sent to key stakeholders in the industry to feed into their planning and strategy around ePayments.

Here are a few more pictures we took at the event:

We cant wait for the presentations, Hope you came up with solid issues that will be addresses and not like the usual forums whose main purpose and result is one: Discuss! We now want action
