Kwesé TV’s latest deal brings P Diddy’s REVOLT TV to Africa, targets continent’s youthful demographic

Kwesé TV, the pay-TV service owned by Econet Media recently announced a content deal involving the exclusive broadcast rights to REVOLT TV, an American multi-platform TV Network with a huge focus on music and lifestyle entertainment.

For most people outside the USA and especially in Africa, the name REVOLT TV isn’t as common as other media brands, but a lot of people will immediately recognise its founder, Sean Combs also known as Diddy, P Diddy or Puff Daddy.

According to the announcement made regarding the partnership, Kwesé is the first international distribution partner for REVOLT TV.

The young network has consistently targetted an urban, young audience with distribution and brand growth powered by social media. It will be tying its efforts to Kwesé which has also moulded its content around the huge African huge demographic.

Kwesé TV recently went live in selected African countries where it will be broadcasting over 50 channels of varied content in sports, music and general entertainment.

For now, the complete REVOLT TV content lineup is only available in the countries where Kwesé TV has launched. In other territories, including Zimbabwe, viewers can catch some of what REVOLT TV has to offer on the Kwesé App.
