Holiday broadband deals: ZOL is giving it all away for FREE

ZOLWe’ve been posting over the course of the day today some holiday broadband and call deals local service providers are offering. Some quite good, and some just so so. The best so far has been a half price deal and we thought that was the lowest a provider would go.

We were wrong. ZOL is going free. Yes, free broadband between 24 December and 1 January 2013. Here’s the announcement in an email sent out to ZOL customers this evening:

We are excited to announce that we will be giving free usage of the Internet between 24 December 2012 and 1 January 2013 to you, our faithful ZOL customers. Yes, all ZOL customers will not be billed for any usage during that period.

“All customers”, we’re assuming including the Wi-Fi ones, means if you’re not a ZOL customer well just go ahead and be a ZOLSpot one for the month. Otherwise, you have to buy last mile customer needed for a WiMax, fibre or VSAT connection and that stuff doesn’t come free hey.
