Samsung has officially informed all of its global partners to stop selling or exchanging its flagship Galaxy Note 7 amid to consumer safety concerns as seen in their statement below:
We are working with relevant regulatory bodies to investigate the recently reported cases involving the Galaxy Note7. Because consumers’ safety remains our top priority, Samsung will ask all carrier and retail partners globally to stop sales and exchanges of the Galaxy Note7 while the investigation is taking place.
This follows reports of its replacement Note 7’s being plagued by the same battery defect that they had tried to resolve on the first batch of their Note 7 line.
