In addition to the new option to buy ZESA directly, EcoCash has also added a new menu feature to pay for your DSTV subscription. Previously the only option to pay DSTV on EcoCash was through its biller code but now EcoCash and DSTV have partnered to add a new menu feature which adds more options to the payment steps, including choosing which DSTV bouquet you want to pay for.
The payment steps are as follows:
- Select option 2 “Make Payment”
- Select option 6 “Pay DSTV“
- “Enter Amount” (odd that you enter amount before choosing your bouquet, maybe list bouquet and prices to give people freedom to choose? How many people know exactly how much each bouquet costs?)
- Enter your “DSTV Account Number” (usually on your customer card or receipts from previous payments, if you don’t have either its a good time to contact DSTV for it)
- Enter your “DSTV Boquet”
- Enter your “DSTV Package” (depending on bouquet)
- Enter Number of Months Paid (on the old system it only allow 1 and 12, not sure yet how this works)
- Confirm Payment
- Wait for confirmation message and SMS (we didn’t do the transaction as account was already paid for)
