Comexposed, the source of all things comics in Zimbabwe, held a Comic Book Day in Harare over the weekend. Called Comic Day 5 the event is sort of a mini version of their Comexposed Convention, and one that is focused on being a marketplace for comic books. You can read more on what the Comic Book Day is here.

In the video you get to hear some comic book artists talk about their art, characters and what they’re working on in general.

The Comic Book Day and the annual Convention are organised by Eugene Ramirez Mapondera and Tinodiwa Makoni, the co-founders Comexposed.

Great show, but I mean basically, I mean err er literary you know. Why do Zimbaweans eerr I mean eer you know have to use these noise words all the time. It’s like eer you know err basically a national disease you know.

It’s not a disease, it’s the way they speak. Just like South Africans have an Afrikaans bend and Nigerians have their own way of speaking English. There is absolutely nothing wrong with that.
