[Press Release] Telecel Gives Away $60 000 Worth Of Prizes In Bundle Mania & Cash Boosta Promotions

Telecel’s recently gave subscribers over $60 000 worth of prizes for participating in the Bundle Mania and Cash Boosta promotions. Telecel Gives Away Over $60 000 Worth of Prizes

Mobile Operator Telecel Zimbabwe gave away prizes worth over $60 000 in the recently ended Bundle Mania promotion and the ongoing Cash Boosta promotion on Thursday the 31st of May 2018.

The Bundle Mania promotion ran from the 14th of February to the 30th of April 2018. The Winners were rewarded for buying the very popular MegaBoost combo package as well as Facebook, WhatsApp and Wi-Fi bundles on Telecel’s *480# short code.

In the ongoing Cash Boosta promo, 38 year-old Ms Esther Rushika, who lives in Chitungwiza, walked away with the grand prize of $10 000. In an interview, Ms Rushika indicated that she has always believed she is a winner and felt that receiving the grand prize of $10 000 vindicated and affirmed this belief.

“I use Telecel because it is so affordable and it uplifts us ordinary housewives. I vow to never leave this network,” she said in her acceptance speech.

Mr Simon Njanji and Ms Winnie Matake who were the two runner- ups each walked away with $5 000 cash.  34 other subscribers won and walked away with cash prizes of $250 each.

In the very popular Bundle Mania promotion, 12 winners walked away with Solar Panels each, 12 winners with a cow each, a laptop each for 12 lucky customers and a Samsung tablet each for 25 subscribers. In addition 2 lucky winners went home $1 000 each richer in cash prizes. Grocery vouchers, ZESA tokens, airtime and Telecare subscriptions were also part of the Bundle mania prizes that had already been given away.

Giving the prizes, Communications & Branding Director, Obert Mandimika congratulated the winners and thanked them for the support they keep giving to the network.

“This is a way of Telecel giving back to its valued subscribers for sticking with us through difficult times. There are other new offers we are working on that will be rolled out to ensure we continue to reward our customers. Mr Mandimika assured Telecel customers that Telecel will always continue to bring products that offer value to them.

”We are currently working on changes to the popular MegaBonus and Voice Bundles as well as refining the price for our Data Bundles to make them more competitive,”  he added.
