Last night at 11 PM, Golix sent out a press release announcing that they would be hosting a Q&A session on reddit and the Q&A started at 7:30 AM this morning.

Those interested just need to sign up or login on Golix’s subreddit and you can begin asking away. The Q&A will go on for 24 hours so you have ample time to prepare and ask your questions and get responses.

The press release reads:

Golix to hold 24 hour online Q&A session

Golix – the cryptocurrency exchange with the largest footprint in Africa is set to hold a 24 hour hour Q&A session.
The “Ask Me Anything” (AMA) marathon will be held on Reddit, one of the leading platforms for conversation and discussion in the cryptocurrencies space

Golix is doing this to keep its customers updated on its ongoing projects.

The AMA will start on Tuesday the 3rd of July 2018 at 05:30 AM (GMT). It will cover a wide range of topics, focusing mostly on the Golix Token Sale and the recent launch of its services in 7 African countries.

Speaking on the eve of the AMA Golix’s Social Media Executive Trycolyn Pikirirayi, explained that after the recent launch in several countries, the Golix team felt there was a need to create an awareness of Golix’s work and its services.

“As you are aware we have an ongoing Token Sale and we recently extended our services to 7 countries – South Africa, Tanzania, Kenya, Nigeria, Cameroon, Rwanda and Uganda. As we approach these new markets we feel that there is a need to give people an open platform to ask any question in relation to our services, the ongoing token sale, and as well on the future plans Golix has for Africa,

“As a result we believe that this is a best opportunity for people to bring forward all the questions they have and we will try to answer all of them.” Said Pikirayi.

Golix CEO, Tawanda Kembo will be fielding the questions from the AMA which is the first of many interactions with its stakeholders. Pikirirayi added that they intend to hold other sessions on other platforms like Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and Bitcointalk.

“We decided to start from Reddit because its the traditional home for AMAs, but we will extend the services to our respective social media platforms soon. Our main aim is to introduce financial autonomy in Africa. One important step for that is to create awareness on how we plan to do it and the solutions we are offering, through these discussions,” she said.

Pikirirayi, added that those who were interested to take part in the AMA should join the Golix subreddit and get all the answers they need addressed.

Strangely the press release makes no reference to the on-going court case. If you’re one of the affected customers you won’t find any solace in this press release. Since Golix is inviting in all kinds of questions it might be a good time to go on the subreddit and ask all the questions.

The silence on the court case is probably because the focus of the subreddit is ‘the Golix token sale and the recent launch of it’s services in 7 different countries.’ I’m not sure if this means the “Ask Me Anything” won’t address questions surrounding the ban of cryptos and shutting down of Golix accounts. One would assume all questions will be answered since the session is termed “Ask Me Anything.”
