TelOne internet connection has been appalling according to reports

There have been a number of reports that TelOne internet connection has been inconsistent to absolutely slow. Some reports say that there have been intermittent periods where the connection has been alright and there have been others that say that connection has been bad altogether.

The service disruption has been experienced by users on TelOne Fiber and ADSL. It seems as though it is worse for customers on ADSL because some have said that internet speeds haven’t improved since morning.

There has been no word yet as to what the problem may be but the hope is that it’s resolved soon. TelOne recently increased their service fees and I’d imagine this is something that customers won’t be too happy with considering what they now have to pay.

    Well I have decided to downgrade and teach myself to only use the Internet when I need to… Sad when we are in 2020 and the rest of the world are a trillion miles ahead of us, for obvious reasons. Every night I pray for a new day in our country, when we will be the number one country in all aspects in Africa. When we all will have a decent standard of living which has not happened since 1990!

    Its really bad .. they up the price and have been really inconsistent .. sadly they don’t care no answers to why just continue . I question why i am still on telone might be time to leave maybe u all should aswell . Cheaper is def not better in this case . I will be posting on FB and IG oh and whats app spread they word bad internet service

    Tel One are totally offering CRAPY SERVICE THEIR WIFI IS CONSTANTLY DROPPING OR NOT WORKING AT ALL WHETHER IT’S A GIMMICK FOR THEM TO BENEFIT NO ONE KNOWS AND CLIENTS ARE LEFT WITHOUT ANYTHING OF VALUE FROM THE PAID BUNDLES FOR WIFI

    True, Telone is short changing us. After paying those huge amounts for ADSL services, is the network provider telling us that this is their best service they can offer? Network is slowly and in most cases inongodonha uripakati. That’s bull shit to say the least.

    Something has to be done.

    Imagine we have a fully subscribed telone wifi at home for everyone. My son went on to buy bundles for his phone from another network provider. When I asked him, he told me that telone is slow and he can’t work with it.

    I have both ZOL and Telone. Last month ZOL disappointed me so this month I only bought 5Gb ZOL backup for absolute emergencies and 500Gb Telone

    Everywhere else in the world Internet charges are coming down, making it affordable for more subscribers and reducing the digital divide. Why don’t we have a coherent ICT policy in Zimbabwe?

    Telone has been absolutely appalling, network is horrendously slow, or to nothing, and when you need technicians to attend to faults it takes up to 2 weeks for anything to happen, and you pay for getting nothing, time to move on.
