Kwesé TV is on an expansion drive and in line with that goal they seek to remove all hindrances to would-be customers joining the movement. They also want to bring convenience to those who have already joined the party. Enter Kwesé eStore, announced in a press release.

The eStore coming to Zimbabwe has already been launched in other African countries and is working well. Before coming to Zimbabwe it was launched in many countries, Zambia and Botswana included on that list.

The Kwesé eStore is an online store where customers can purchase their decoders and dishes and pay for everything from the comfort of their homes. A customer can select the package they want and pay using either EcoCash or any bank card that can transact online.

For those joining Kwesé for the first time, they will be able to pay $49 cash, EcoCash or bank transfer for the decoder and dish set plus a month’s subscription. Customers may also get a Steward bank loan to pay and that will cost $105.

Customers will likewise be able to pay subscriptions, be it the 3 day, 7 day or the full month package on the online store. Again they will be able to pay using EcoCash or a bank card. If one does not pay their subscriptions they will still be able to enjoy five free channels though.

This convenience will surely be appreciated as customers will be able to avoid having to travel to physical locations to make their payments. This added with the convenience of being able to pay by any means they want will sit well with people.

The other benefit customers will get from the Kwesé eStore is that it will be much easier to pay for others, be they friends or family. This way those in the diaspora will be able to purchase decoders or pay for subscriptions for family here in Zimbabwe or anywhere in the world where Kwesé TV is available really.

There really is a good chance people in the diaspora will utilise this eStore and for Kwesé that would mean real money instead of the bond notes we are giving them here. Kwesé will no doubt be looking to incentivise Diasporans to pay for their friends and family back in Zimbabwe.

The Kwesé eStore will be live in Zimbabwe soon. Watch this space.

One day, you will look back on this article and realise this was the start of the demise of TechZim, ( well at least I think ) , Sometimes we choose to write articles simply because the headlines will attract readers (as in this case) , Its a pity though thatthe way the article comes out seems (is definitely) like you have something against probably one of the very few Zimbabweans who has invested the most back into Zimbabwe since 37 years ago (correct me if I am wrong), yes its registered outside Zim because the powers that be push out any investment here does that make it any less credible as a company I wonder, anyway instead of looking around to get on peoples nerves (which are on edge by the way) why can’t we write about other Tech issues that actually inspire Zimbabweans to maybe build a better version of what we have now for the future…. aaaaaargh I am REALLY DISAPPOINTED with this article I mean FOR THE WHY really Nxaaaaaaaaa

If it can provide better programmes than DSTV for less subscriptions per month then I would like to know how much. I am a pensioner and find it difficult to pay the premium subscription. But the deals offered for less than the premium are disgusting and a load of rubbish. It’s time there is another competitor to be allowed.

Doctors Dish is a Zimbabwean company. Kwese is providing content. Kwese is in several African countries, mother company head quartered in Mauritius, but owned by a Zimbabwean.
