From today you may find yourself stuck at tollgate as the Zimbabwe National Road Administration (ZINARA) is carrying out an upgrade of its payment system. The upgrade is obviously meant to improve the efficiency of the various payment systems road users use to make pay their dues. However, Zinara didn’t say when the upgrade will be completed. Here is ZINARA’s notice;
The Zimbabwe National Road Administration wishes to advise all its valued motoring public that it is currently carrying an upgrade of Payment Solution Systems at all Tollgates countrywide for the purpose of improving Tolling Operation Efficiency.
In view of this development, slow processing of tolling transactions may be encountered resulting in queues build up at our tollgates.
We would like to urge our valued client to remain patient during this upgrade period as efforts are underway to finalize the exercise through service providers.
ZINARA sincerely apologizes to the public for the inconveniences caused as a result of this exercise.
