This Local COVID-19 Resource Library Houses Research Efforts, APIs & More Coronavirus Related Tools

Wordcamp Harare

Zim COVID-19 Resource Library is a pretty nifty tool developed by Njabulo Sandawana and Rumbidzai Makanga. The library is housing locally relevant Coronavirus information relating to COVID-19 response.

Looking for articles and research in relation to the disease but relevant to the local context? There’s a section for that. Looking for a list of educational tools to help during the pandemic. check as well.

There’s a section for data sources which contains APIs, repositories and research papers for those looking to work on applications that might help during the crisis.

The Startup and founders sections are not too populated yet but the welcome message notes that the resource library will continue to be updated.

This tool will undergo constant change and you if come across anything that is useful or would like us to add something contact us: covidzwtool@gmail.com

I asked Njabulo if the resource board will take another form of life after COVID-19. He explained that they want it to remain relevant but haven’t mapped out what exactly it will turn into.
