From the 1st of July this year dialing TelOne numbers the way you have always done does not work. TelOne has completely migrated to a new regime of area codes as part of their digital transition.
TelOne has made it possible for you to search for the new number sequence for any local fixed line on their website. If you have no access to the internet they produced what they called a mini directory that lists the new STD codes. The mini directory is a PDF file which you can keep on your phone for reference.
Geophas Murimbika, a member of one of the Techzim WhatsApp Community Groups developed a simple app that allows you to search for the new area codes without need to access the internet. He did it because he found searching the PDF to be frustrating.
