Tonight our young group of techies will get career guidance advice from Mr. Alexandre N’DJore. I personally met Alex in Capetown in November and we got to talk and spoke lengthly about his career. I was fascinated by his intelligence and secondly his business savviness. Having started his career in Supply Chain, Alexandre quickly climbed the ladder and decided to expand his area of expertise by exploring the strategic aspect of the business.
Hired as an innovation fellow by Millicom, his laser focus abilities helped him to deliver the first Digital and Mobile Agriculture portfolio which has been documented by GSMA as a game changer in Financial Inclusion by providing a platform to penetrate rural areas (more than half a millions farmers reached). A relentless strategic innovator, Alexandre was identified to head the first Digital Unit of Tigo in Tanzania( a unit he inspired) the first of its kind in all African Operations. For him the digital ecosystem comprises four essential components: Infrastructure (3G/4G)+ Access (Smartphones)+ Content/Services (education, jobs, health, Insurance, Energy, Security…)+ Payment services (through mobile money); all of this augmented by an intelligent partnership with notably OTT players.
Alexandre is a seasoned conference speaker at the African level as well as at the global level. He believes in the future explosion of mobile payment and the Internet of Things.
Alexandre is a Summa Cum Laude MBA holder from Hult International Business School ( Dubai Campus) where he was the only one to graduate with 3 extra credits (57/54) due to the exceptional contribution of a Business Valuation Project that predicted the future performance of a company by linking its historical financial data to its business strategy.
