WhatsApp’s standalone business app, WhatsApp Business, has reached a user base of over five million within a year of its launch. The company in its blog post said that over five million users are using the app to grow their business and connect with communities all over the world.
To mark this milestone, it has brought some new features to the app. WhatsApp has added three new features to its Business app- Quick replies, Labels and Chat list filtering. These features can be used on both mobile as well a desktop version of WhatsApp Business.
The Quick replies feature allows you quickly reply to customer’s queries by pressing the “/” on your keyboard to select a quick reply and send. Labels allows you to organize your contacts or chats with labels so that you can easily find them again. And the Chat list filtering feature allows you to manage your chats with filters to sort out by unread messages, groups or broadcast lists.
Apart from the features that are available in WhatsApp Messenger, the WhatsApp Business also includes features like writing ‘Away messages’ to let your clients know that you’re away, ability to create a business profile, web version of the app etc.
