Zimbabwean laws, Legisaltion in Zimbabwe, Zimbabwean Government

On the 15th of May, the Cyber Security and Data Protection Bill was gazetted by government and before it is effected into law the bill should go through a phase of public consultation where ordinary Zimbabweans like you and me go through it and share comments with Parliament.

This being the case the Parliament of Zimbabwe has invited comments from the public regarding the bill.

So how do you comment?

The assumption is you will have read the bill before commenting. You can download the Cyber Security and Data Protection Bill here.

Once you have read the bill and taken down your comments, you can submit them to Parliament by sending to the following email addresses: bills@parlzim.gov.zw or clerk@parlzim.gov.zw.

If you’re more old fashioned and would prefer to submit the comments in writing you can do so and submit at: Parliament of Zim, Cnr 3rd Street & Kwame Nkrumah.

Deadline

If you’re interested in participating in this exercise you must have done so by Firday 26 June.

What’s your take?
