So the internet blackout made us go back in time. We heard a lot of misinformation and disturbing stuff on radio and other places and it got us worried how Zimbabweans were keeping themselves informed.


We turned to our WhatsApp broadcast list and we just started sending updates to that list via SMS. It’s not perfect but it’s what we have right now still since WhatsApp is still blocked as well as other social media platforms.
